What Do We Offer?
God’s Gang offers an all encompassing program of vermiculture, agriculture, performing arts, crafts, sports and tutoring.
Within our Planting Dreams self sufficiency efforts, we continue to expand to meet the needs of the community.
Our future plans include greater emphasis on our landscaping and urban farming program, as well as introductory courses in secretarial work and computer skills.
God’s Gang Gospel dancers and Choir have performed at White Sox Park’s Children’s Corner, Michael Reese Hospital Health Fair, Boys and Girls Clubs and various churches and community activities throughout the city. The Gang appeared on TV in ‘Dancing in the Park’. We also danced with the critically acclaimed Ghana Dance Troupe in Dance Africa 1995.
How Can You Help?
God’s Gang has been built through the efforts of a volunteer staff ranging from secretaries, postal workers, teachers and lawyers who have given freely of their time to put back into their community.
God’s Gang owes a tremendous debt to the St. Mary A.M.E. Church,.who opened their facilities and helped sponsor many activities of the group.
Today, we are seeking your assistance through donations of time, funds or project sponsorship.
